Conlegno, with the publication of ETA 18/0288 in April 2018, has completed the regulatory path that allows Italian companies to mark CE profiles for structural use.
First in Europe, certified manufacturers now have the opportunity to mark CE structural profiles of conifers, starting from the thickness of 18mm and the width of 80mm, since, as a result of the processes incurred to give the specific profile, the starting tables lose the attributed resistance class, leaving the field application of UNI EN 14081-1.
We too felt it was important to seize this opportunity, which will enable us to providet to our customers a product that complies with the Technical Standards for Construction and to affix the CE mark for structural purposes.
